I photograph the in-between stuff — the way your kid reaches for your hand, the way you look at each other when nobody is paying attention, the little pieces of life that somehow become the ones we remember most.

it’s the field you went to
every summer.
the kitchen where everyone
somehow ends up standing.
the creek your kids never
want to leave.
the place you didn’t know
you’d miss until it was gone.

why photography?
Sometimes it’s the big things.
But sometimes it’s just the way your baby
looked at you that afternoon.
The way your husband made you laugh.
Your family’s messy hair.
The season of life you thought you’d never
forget.
And then somehow, you do.
